The Curtiss Museum

Visualizing America’s Age of Innovation for a museum’s capital campaign.

Challenge

Suffering from an outdated image as an aviation artifact repository, the Curtiss Museum engaged in a new strategic master plan to put Glenn Curtiss at the center of modern aviation and to focus more broadly on Finger Lakes regional history.

To raise the required funds, the museum needed a partner like LVCK to elevate its fundraising materials and brand.

Approach

LVCK’s new fundraising materials told the new story of the Curtiss as a premier regional history museum for Central New York: exploring the natural and cultural history of the Finger Lakes and celebrating Glenn Curtiss—inventor, American hero, and father of the American aviation industry.

To bring the new master plan to Life, we worked with the museum planners to conceive a museum floor plan, and LVCK created and included exhibition renderings for all aspects of the museum’s offerings in the new collateral.
