Eaton World Headquarters
Headquarters signage and graphics reflect a company’s sustainability values and respect the historic, urban location.
Challenge
Eaton Corporation is a diversified energy provider committed to sustainability. Its headquarters Eaton House is located in an early 19th- century Dublin neighborhood, a rich tapestry of residences, small businesses, parks, and embassies. With a 2014 renovation of a 1970 building with earlier Georgian townhouses on its site, Eaton House is designed to be a building of its time while respectful of its historic context.
The signage needed to parallel the approach taken in a larger office in Cleveland, respectful of the environment and the employees, while also keeping the historic setting at the forefront.
Approach
Working under Alexander Design Associates and collaborating closely with the client, we created signage and graphics program. We reinforced Eaton’s unique business philosophy and sustainability leadership and applied signage standards of the larger complex.
