Laura Varacchi is a partner and the creative strategist of LVCK. Laura has over 15 years experience as a lead designer and project manager. Her expertise includes broadcast media, print and information design, signage and wayfinding, as well as environmental digital programs. Her projects include New Jersey Transit’s timetables, Princeton University’s campus plan and signage program, the wayfinding master plan for New York City’s DOT, a multi-platform wayfinding program for NYU Langone, and consumer wayfinding for Macy’s iconic Herald Square store. Her work for the Empire State Building was recognized by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. Prior to founding LVCK, Laura served for nine years as a creative director at Two Twelve, New York.
Christopher King is a partner and the creative director for LVCK. Christopher has 15 years of experience as a graphic designer and project manager. His expertise includes print design, exhibition design, and signage programs. Projects include print communications and exhibition design for the Smithsonian Institution Natural History Museum, Christie’s Fine Arts Auction and Private Sales, and United Technologies, a diversified Fortune 500 company. He has designed signage and wayfinding programs for the National Park Service, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Aleris Corporation, and Eaton Corporation. He has helped shape signage and graphics for UTC Aerospace Systems, a global merger between Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich Aerospace, one of the world’s largest suppliers of advanced aerospace and defense systems. Prior to founding LVCK, Chris served as an independent designer for a variety of clients in publishing, the arts, technology, and industry.
