The Johns Hopkins Hospital

Crafting a sense of place for a state-of-the-art children’s healthcare center.

Widely regarded as one of the world’s best hospitals, Johns Hopkins sees 80,000 visitors daily throughout its 60-building campus. The opening of the new $1.1 billion Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children’s Center and the new Sheikh Zayed Tower led a major campus redevelopment effort.

A comprehensive signage and wayfinding system was designed for the new clinical buildings which were connected to the existing historic campus.

Design: Christopher King while at Two Twelve.
