Grace Church School

Creating maintainable wayfinding standards for a multi-campus charter school.

Challenge

Grace Church High School was growing – it had secured funding for a new gymnasium and fitness center designed by MBB Architects. The budget for signage was limited, yet the signage needed to look tailored to the new design and easy for the school to update on its own.

Approach

Working as part of MBB’s team from the project’s onset, LVCK advised the school on preliminary construction budgets and code compliance.

LVCK provided a cost-effective and flexible signage solution that would allow the school to internally maintain signage updates regarding faculty and room use. We helped set up a pre-ordering process that was consistent and easy. We oversaw every detail of the installation from supervising existing signage removal to perfecting wall graphics and paint color.

As part of the school’s growing brand and footprint, the scope of new signage expanded to the entire school.
